Part of a series exploring how it felt to be trapped in the US Immigration and Naturalization System (aka ICE today) for over 5 years. The piece is a literal reference to depleted emotional energy. I was experimenting with making different types of papers and this cast is made from manilla hemp fiber and the mold was made out of sealed cast plaster.
