This piece is about letting go of the tail in front to appreciate one’s current situation and surroundings. More specifically and personally, it is a piece about being stuck in a pattern of searching for love by constantly looking to the next new relationship. Letting go of the tail in front might reveal that special person may have be standing next to you all along. At the time, I was experimenting with making different types of papers. This piece was made by casting handmade cotton rag paper. The mold was made out of sealed cast plaster.
