About

This is an early piece in a personal series motivated by a very prolonged journey through the US immigration system. This piece is about conveying nervous discomfort and dislocation. The individual pieces are cast plaster which when de-molded were warm and wet, almost like they were being born. This felt like a metaphor for hope and it was at this exact moment that I also vividly recall realizing how interesting and the process of creating art can be.
